Blurb:
Who knows where pain ends and pleasure begins?
The chance of a new life out in the wilds of the Yorkshire moors sounds too good to be true to shy musician Eva Byrne. Stifled and smothered within the cocoon of her brilliant academic career, Eva yearns for something different. Something real and exciting. Something she can feel.
Excitement. Passion. Pleasure. She finds that sexy, enigmatic Nathan Darke can provide all these and more when she moves into his home as violin tutor to his young daughter. But Eva’s sensual encounters with her demanding, domineering new employer quickly evoke her deepest fears, as he introduces her to the trauma of submission and marks her with his particularly dark brand of love.
But will Eva’s natural curiosity and thirst for new experiences be enough to withstand the sting of Nathan Darke’s exquisite touch? Will simple surrender be enough as he challenges her every inhibition, taking her on an erotic journey of self-discovery and liberation?
Excerpt:
I feel the hard table beneath my shoulder blades as I writhe under his skilled lips, his expert tongue and teeth, desperate for more. And he knows what he is about—he knows what I need and he has more for me. Opening his mouth wider, he takes more of my breast in and sucks hard, first one side then the other. He slides his free hand, palm up, between my shoulders and the table to raise me up, giving him easier access with his mouth, his tongue, his teeth. Gently grazing my now helplessly sensitised nipples with his teeth, he suckles me relentlessly, nipping slightly harder, just enough to hurt, maybe—I’m not sure where pain ends and pleasure begins now. What does it matter, anyway? He can do whatever he wants to me as long as he doesn’t stop.
He is no longer holding my wrists—he has no need to because I’m lying boneless under him, spread across his kitchen table, pleading wordlessly for…for what? More? Less? The ecstatic pleasure tinged with a hint of pain is so intense now that I can only moan, ride the waves of sensation pulsing from my breasts out through my fingers and toes, each wave bigger, heavier, more compelling than the one before until I am writhing with need.
“I can’t. Please, it’s too much…” Is that me? Or someone else whimpering nearby?
“Yes, you can, you are. Don’t fight it, sweetheart, come for me. Now. Come now.” His words—insistent, soft and low, seductive—are breathed into my ear before he returns to my breasts, nibbling and sucking mercilessly, building the tension, increasing the sensations coursing through every part of me, winding me tighter and tighter until I burst, screaming out loud as fireworks explode in my head, my groin, everywhere as the earth shifts beneath me. My inner core clenches violently, the wetness surely flooding across the table. I feel I am falling, floating as the tension is released and I hear myself moan in delighted satisfaction, drifting back down towards reality.
Me, the girl who can’t bear to be touched. Somehow—God only knows how it happened—I have just spent the last ten minutes spread out half naked on Nathan Darke’s kitchen table, his hands and mouth all over me until I totally lost control, and he watched me thrashing about in the throes of my very first orgasm, right in front of him. Christ! How wonderful, how intimate. How unlike me. And he’s achieved all this without so much as a button of his coming undone.
Raising his head to look into my eyes, which I’m sure must be still glazed from the enormity of what has just happened to me, he smiles tenderly, if that’s possible. He drops a light kiss on my lips, then stands and, still holding my gaze, he lifts the hem of my miniskirt to slide his left hand underneath, bracing his right hand flat on the table beside my head as he leans over me, his face inches from mine. He might be intending to kiss me again. Please.
Instead, after tugging down my opaque tights and briefs, he slides his fingers between my dripping folds to touch me, gently parting my lips and running his fingertips around the entrance to my vagina. It never occurs to me to protest. I think I might melt.
“Ah, honey, you are so wet, so ready for me,” he whispers, his eyes never leaving mine as he slips first one finger, then two inside me. I gasp and tilt my hips forward, parting my thighs instinctively to let him in. I can’t believe I’m doing this, that I’m letting him touch me like this.
“I want to fuck you. You know that, don’t you?” I can’t think of any sensible response to that apart from spreading my legs farther, but he apparently, incredibly, wants to talk! “Don’t you?” he repeats, sliding his fingers inside me to stretch and stroke the walls of my vagina. “Answer me, Miss Byrne.”
“Yes,” I manage to whisper, closing my eyes to savour the intense pleasure he is rekindling, the delicious helplessness as my body responds again, more powerfully still, to this even more intense stimulation.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you, Miss Byrne.” His voice is still quiet, but an edge of firmness has crept in too. He slides his wonderful, clever fingers out of my vagina, right out until only the tips are still there, gently circling my entrance, so lightly that I can hardly feel him anymore, before he plunges them back inside me, hard and fast. “Do I have your attention, Miss Byrne?” he asks softly as I jerk under him.
“Yes,” I whisper again, opening my eyes obediently. “What are you doing?”
“Am I hurting you?” His tone is low, gentle, the words whispered into my ear.
“No. No, that feels fabulous…”
“Mmmm, I think so too, Miss Byrne. You’re so hot and wet and tight, and I want to put my cock inside you, here…” A further deep and fast thrust with his fingers, to make sure I get his point. I do. I definitely do. “Deep and hard and fast, until you scream. I like it that you scream when I make you come. I want to fuck you until you can’t stand. With your permission, of course. Is that okay with you, Miss Byrne?”
God, yes, absolutely…

Author bio:
I’m one of the lucky few who do what they love doing, for a living.
I like to write about people, and relationships and often write about places I’ve known, particularly the north of England where I live. But my tales of love, challenge, resilience and compassion are the conjurings of my own imagination. With a hefty dose of kink to keep it interesting. And the hotter the better.
I love reading erotic fiction – historical, contemporary, fantasy, romance. Now I can realize my dreams of writing my own stories. I hope others enjoy them as much as I do.

Wednesday Wisdom with Belinda McBride
How long have you been writing? Tell us a little about your writing journey.
My writing journey is waaay long, so I’ll try to abbreviate it. LOL! I grew up wanting to tell stories and spent a good part of my life submerged in my daydreams but not writing. I started writing plays and poetry when I was in college but was in a severe accident and came out of it with a minor head injury. I had to learn to read and write again and lost all desire to write creatively. In 2006 I picked up a Christine Feehan book and fell in love with paranormal romance. I started writing again, found I had a knack for erotic romance and from there, I didn’t look back. I wound up quitting my day job to care for a disabled niece and that gave me the time to write. :-) I signed my first contracts in 2008.
Oh wow! That is an amazing story! I can't imagine how tough that would have been. Go you!
Your books cross a few sub genres….LGBT, BDSM, Paranormal, Fantasy …which is pretty awesome, I must say – so how did you get started in this, and have you found it an advantage or a hindrance in reaching your audience?
I think writing in multiple genres does limit an author at the beginning, but eventually I developed a core readership who likes my writing and trust that I’ll give them a good story regardless of the genre or gender of the leads. I got started writing multi-genre simply because I refuse to shut down any facet of my imagination. If a story starts rattling around in my head, I write it.
You write M/M stories. How do you research for your stories? Is it difficult getting into the psyche of males?
Any person writing a book has to have the ability to get into the psyche of the opposite sex. When I write a M/F story, I have to get into the psyche of the hero just as much as I do the heroine, so in a M/M romance, that’s just an extension of what a het writer is already doing.
I believe strongly that research into human behavior should be boots on the ground. I watch people, I talk to people…I listen. I’m really cautious of sweeping generalizations and labels. Not all gay men act the same. Not all BDSM lifestylers hang out in clubs. I rarely watch porn for research because that’s as far from genuine as life and romance can possibly get. For lack of a better term, I channel characters, whether it’s a tough female cop or a gay alpha werewolf. A writer has to have empathy for that which they cannot experience personally. Some of the most miraculous heroines in literature were written by men.
Yep, I get that! I don't seem to have too much of a problem getting into the males' heads, but sometimes my female characters confound me - it's tough to make sure they don't all sound like me!
Tell us about your latest release
My latest is Arcada 2: Silver/Steel. It’s the sequel to the very successful novel Blacque/Bleu. This book is about Lukas Blacque’s younger brother Travis, who is a very low ranked wolf in the pack. He struggles daily with living in the shadow of his father and brother who are both alpha wolves. His love interest is Dylan, a fae who was enslaved and has spent hundreds of years forced to be an assassin. Falling in love is the worst possible thing that could happen to these two, yet it hones them into the men they were meant to be.
Where did you come up with the idea for this book?
Travis had a very minor role in Blacque/Bleu. He was a very negative character and when I started thinking about another Arcada book, Travis came to mind. I spent a lot of time imagining what would turn a promising young man into such an asshole. And you know, it always seems to come back to family. LOL! He lives in a constant state of stress and fear, but at the core, he’s an amazing hero. In many ways he’s stronger than Dylan, who’s much older and more experienced. For the right reasons, Travis will face his greatest fears. To me, that demonstrates true courage.
Is this part of a series? Any plans for other stories based on these characters?
This is part of the Arcada series. I started this series with a couple short stories: Chrysalis and Mad at the Moon. (both will be revised and re-released soon) Blacque/Bleu was the first full length book in the series. Arcada is a magic town that is a sanctuary for paranormal beings and gifted humans. It’s very charming and like any classic American small town, but the town itself is sentient and has figurative claws.
What was the hardest part about writing this book?
Just getting it written! My computer crashed and I did a lot of re-writing on my backup computer. No sooner had I caught up then my back-up computer failed and as it melted down, my online backup saved the corrupted file. So I re-wrote it again. Once I stopped crying, I decided it was my opportunity to write it even better. :-)
Aside from that, following a successful book is always hard. Lukas and Oliver are very, very popular and it was tough to try and capture that spark again. I tried to make this book part of the whole, but completely unique with equally special heroes.
I remember that happening...and I don't know if I could have handled it as well as you did. It took a lot to get it all written again, and in such a short time!
What was the easiest part?
Finding the emotional core of the men. Once I knew what made them tick, the characters just blossomed. Dylan starts off cold and Travis starts off as a spoiled asshole. But that’s just the beginning of their journey.
Favorite Scene?
I love the moment that Dylan and Travis first meet. Dylan is so hard and cynical. He scopes out this slutty young man he sees in the bar, but the moment they make eye contact, he falls hard. I loved that moment.
Oh I love that first moment of eye contact too. It reminds me of when I met my husband :-) *sigh*
Where can readers find out more about you?
I’m most active on Facebook these days. I had to pare down my social networking because of my limited time, but I pop in and out there all the time. I try to blog weekly and readers can also subscribe to my monthly newsletter at my website.
What are you working on now?
I’m juggling two projects. One if called Toxic, which is a re-issue of the first Truckee Wolves book. It’s M/F BDSM and related to the novellas I did for the Doms of Dark Haven anthologies. Toxic will release at Loose Id. The other project is a trilogy of books called The Aphrodite Project. It’s a M/M fantasy series about minor Greek gods who work as bounty hunters in the modern world. I get to play with classical myth and do some fun gender-bendy stuff.
I can't wait for the rewrite of Toxic! I loved the Doms of Dark Haven anthologies :-)
Favourite toy?
If I say his name, he might be embarrassed. ;)
Favourite food?
Depends on my mood, but generally its pizza or something chocolate.
Favourite position?
Up against the wall.
Yes!
Favourite research item (tool, scene, whatever…) that you actually tried yourself? (okay, you don’t have to answer this one if you don’t want to LOL)
Well, I’ve never done it in a tree, nor while dropping out of the sky…or in an anti-gravity chamber… In Bad Angels: Burn (which is temporarily out of print) one of the heroes and their heroine have sex on the balcony of a hotel in San Francisco Chinatown. I’ve stayed in that hotel a couple times and based that scene on something I saw on that balcony. Later I went out and scoped it out, checking for foliage underneath for her clothing to fall into.
Like I said, boots on the ground…
You saw a couple having sex on a balcony? That would definitely be inspiring!
If you could have anyone, famous or not - who do you want to get hot and heavy with in a ménage?
I have some very creative fantasies about Viggo Mortensen, and I get the feeling Alex Skarsgaard would fit into those fantasies just fine and dandy…they almost look like a matched pair.
Good choice!
Thanks so much for being my guest today Belinda!
So here's some more about Belinda's new release...love that cover! Of course, I am a cover whore :-)
Book Blurb:
When dream hunter Dylan Ryve spots a beautiful shapeshifter raising hell in a bar, he knows he wants the wild young man. But Travis Feris is more to Dylan than a few hot minutes outside in the snow; he's the assassin's ticket into the magical town of Arcada. He didn't plan to rescue the kid, but when he found the shifter being attacked, the opportunity to play hero was too good to pass up.
Through the solitude of a long winter night, Dylan walks in Travis's fevered dreams, learning about Arcada and the pack, and showing the shifter the man he'd been so very long ago. When morning comes, both men know their lives will be forever entwined.
From Dylan, Travis learns that he is a strong, valued member of the pack. The dreamwalker sees his own worth reflected back at him in the dark blue eyes of the wolf. Yet when Dylan has the chance to free himself from centuries of enslavement, can he betray the man he has come to love?

She has a new release out with Ellora's Cave's TABOO line and you know what that means? More BDSM goodness! Yay!
Here's the blurb for NAILED:
Tyler
McMann is a Dom looking for a sub in the bedroom who can match him fire for
fire everywhere else. At the private fetish club Finesse, he spots a fiery
redhead with a defiant stride and curves that don’t quit. Flame looks like the
ultimate Domme, so Tyler’s shocked to discover she is a switch. Their session
together is unexpectedly explosive for both of them.
Tyler
comes back night after night to play with Flame. Soon it becomes more than just
club play but she’s afraid of fallout in her professional life. In her severe
business clothes and uptight persona, no one knows about her secret weekend
life and she wants to keep it that way. She also can’t risk another destructive
relationship with a controlling man like the one who almost destroyed her
before. If Tyler finds out who she really is, would he still offer his love and
protection and a future together?
Excerpt:
“Busy
tonight,” Tyler McMann observed, leaning against the bar in the lounge section
of Finesse. “Is it always like this on the weekends?”
Daks,
the bartender, nodded. “Man, you think this is busy? This is nothing. A light
turnout.”
“Then
I’m glad I usually come in during the week.”
Daks
cocked a brow at him. “Yeah, that’s right. So what are you doing here on the
weekend?”
Tyler
shrugged. “I had a very tough couple of weeks out of state and then worked late
every night this week catching up on local stuff. Doesn’t leave much room for playtime.”
He noticed people taking their coffee or soft drinks and leaving sizable money
on the bar. “Better tips than during the week, I see.”
“You
know it, even with low alcohol sales.”
Finesse
had an unbreakable rule that its members not drink anything alcoholic if they
even thought they were going to play. The club prided itself on providing a
safe environment for members and guests. People breaking that rule suddenly
found themselves on the outside looking in.
“I’ll
be sure to take up a collection for you.”
Everyone
was aware that Daks, like all employees at Finesse, was very well paid. They
were handpicked by the owner and were known for being attentive and discreet.
The atmosphere they created was what drew the elite clientele.
Tyler
took a swallow of coffee from the engraved mug Finesse used for its coffee
service and looked around at the crowd. He’d been a member of Finesse for a
long time now, ever since an old college friend had introduced him to the BDSM
lifestyle. Neither of his brothers were aware of this, which was one reason why
he seldom brought the women he dated to any gatherings.
But
he was getting older and changing partners was beginning to wear on him. He
wanted someone who not only blended with him in the bedroom but in the other
parts of his life. His family didn’t need to know the kind of sex he loved but
he certainly needed a woman with a brain and a sense of humor who would be a
match for his two sisters-in-law. Both Josh’s wife Vanessa and Alex’s wife Livy
were corporate vice presidents. Tough models to live up to but he was sure
there had to be at least one woman out there who was aggressive on the outside
and submissive on the inside.
The
problem was, he hadn’t connected emotionally with any of the women he spent
time with. He was beginning to wonder if he ever would.
Finishing
the coffee, he tapped his mug on the bar signaling Daks he needed a refill,
again scanning the room. People were everywhere, in every available inch of
space—on the furniture, even on the floor. Maybe they just put new meaning into
the expression “thank god it’s Friday”. He knew after the stressful weeks
working the Concordia multiuse development in Wyoming, he needed a break.
McMann Development was doing it all, soup to nuts, and the project was a
massive one. Tyler had been flying back and forth to supervise, sometimes
spending weeks there. This week he happened to be in town and he’d headed
immediately for Finesse.
He
let his gaze roam over the crowd, the jumble of conversations and sounds
buzzing in his ears. All around him people were grouped in pairs and trios, in
various stages of undress and activity. He knew that soon most of them would be
moving to one of the private rooms. Maybe tonight would be his lucky night.
Something
flashed at the corner of his eyes, a bright color and he turned to get a better
look. Coming down the hallway where the private rooms were located was a woman
who quite literally took his breath away. He figured she was probably five foot
six but the four-inch heels on her thigh-high black boots would bring her
closer to Tyler’s six feet. She wore only a black bustier, laced in the front,
her plump breasts resting on a built-in shelf. Her hair was an astounding shade
of deep red and cascaded down her back in rich waves. Curls of the same color
peeped out from the edge of the bustier, calling attention to her exposed
pussy.
Completing
the image was a glittery black mask that covered the upper portion of her face.
She looked and walked like the ultimate Domme. He was shocked to see the thin
red collar around her neck. Finesse provided collars and cuffs for subs to wear
showing they were available. This woman certainly didn’t look like any sub he’d
ever been with.
Every
bit of saliva in Tyler’s mouth dried up as he stared at her. Where the hell had
she been that he’d never noticed her before? At once he visualized her naked,
spread-eagled before him as he rammed his cock into her.
Easy,
boy.
“Hot,
isn’t she?” Daks’s voce held a hint of amusement.
“No
shit. Who is she, anyway?”
“That’s
Flame. She even makes me drool. And I’ve seen ‘em in all kinds and all
sizes.”
“Is
she really a sub? She sure walks like a Domme. And dresses like one.”
Daks
inclined his head in the woman’s direction. “She’s a switch. Top or bottom.
Player’s choice.”
“You’re
kidding, right?”
Daks
shook his head. “Dead serious.
“Hmm.”
Tyler continued to watch the woman through narrowed eyes. “Might be interesting
to hook up with her.
Daks
refilled Tyler’s mug yet again. “She has what you’d call a special situation.
You want her, you see Marco.”
Tyler
curled his hands around the mug. He wanted to yank the bartender across the
polished wood and smack the information out of him. And why did he have to talk
to the dungeon master first?
“Yeah?
Special situation? Explain that.”
“Okay,
okay. Don’t get your shorts in a bunch.” He polished the bar with a soft towel
as he spoke. “She’s always fully booked for every night she comes in.”
“Booked?
Then why is she wearing a collar that signals her availability?”
“Because
she’s so much in demand the owner lets her call her own shots. Even assigned a
room just to her on her regular nights.”
Now
Tyler really was intrigued. Certain Doms paid for the privilege of always
having the same room, but never a sub. Even if she was a switch. She had to be
incredibly talented at both ends of the spectrum for that kind of privilege.
“Another
thing,” Daks continued. “Her sessions never last more than one hour and she
never plays more than twice. She also has the option of cancelling her second
scene if the first one wears her out too much.”

Sexy smartass fun with BDSM by Cari Silverwood
Sexy smartass fun with BDSM with Cari Silverwood, Leia Shaw and Sorcha Black
The Dom with a Safeword is a contemporary Mff romance. Though there is a ghost element to this story it’s pretty firmly set in reality, in New Jersey. I co-authored this one with 2 other authors.
I wrote the Dom, Jude. Leia Shaw wrote the innocent submissive, Sabrina, who is new to both BDSM and girl on girl. And Sorcha Black wrote the bisexual switch Q, who hates her real name and rarely tells it.
Here’s what the book’s about:
Late at night, on an amateur ghost hunt, Sabrina and her best friend Q are caught trespassing by the gorgeous, blonde Jude. The embers of attraction between them sizzle when they discover Jude’s kinks match their own. Jude is a Dom on his last summer of freedom before starting the prison sentence that is med school. Q is a badass bi switch who knows what she wants, and for years it’s been her cute, doe-eyed straight friend Sabrina. But the only way for Q into Sabrina’s heart and panties may be with Jude’s fist wrapped in her hair.
Domming the bratty Q and mischievous Sabrina isn’t going to be easy but Jude relishes the challenge. At the end of the summer, will they find a way to stay together when everything is tearing them apart?
So as you can see, we have, not one, but two brats in this story.
Here’s Jude:
“So… what methods have failed to teach you manners?”
She was relieved by the change in subject, but had no plans to give him ammunition. “Hmmm. Most. Brats are notoriously hard to teach.” Q took a sip of her coffee, but watched him closely. Time to see if this one was up to the challenge or if he’d bolt.
Jude’s face lit up. “I have a soft spot for brats. So you’re a brat switch?”
“Yes,” she said, surprised. “A brat switch. A veritable social pariah in the fet world. You don’t have a hate-on for girls like me?”
“Not a hate-on, no.” He winked and Q got caught in the wave of a full on, hot-faced blush.
There was an awkward silence as she floundered for something to say that wasn’t tie me up and make me your bitch. He smirked and waited, like toying with her was amusing. It made her submissive side go straight into overdrive.
She dropped her gaze and waited.
“Have you had a Dom?”
This story’s characters are based loosely on people we know and their relationships. One of the things we wanted to do with this book was to make sure there was a hearty dose of humor and fun woven in. Because really, who doesn’t see some fun in the world at some time? Sex should be enjoyable, and hell, BDSM too, however you get your kicks. A lot of Doms in fiction seem to have lost their funny bone somewhere down the back of the couch. Hence Jude was born. The man knows how to have fun and how to, mostly, keep up with two of the brattiest brats around. And if he misses the punishment mark sometimes, he makes them pay for it later, if he remembers. He’s fair yet not infallible.
The story isn’t at all slapstick and silly though, and there’s a lot of sadness toward the end. We hope it makes for a great balance.
I’ll leave you with a quote from a beta reader, and then an excerpt.
"I ended up feeling part of the story, personally invested in the different characters. I can't even say how much I loved the book it is funny, heart-warming and intense all at the same time. The sex/play scenes are out of this world good."
Excerpt:
“Fuck,” he said, awestruck. “Holy hell.” He bit her neck, once, twice, sinking his teeth in and not releasing her for a few seconds, though she whimpered. Then he pulled out and unglued his fingers from her hips.
The view down below, as he withdrew, made him admire Sabrina’s curves.
“Your ass would sink a thousand ships, girl.” The quiet giggle from Q and shake of Sabrina’s shoulders made him rethink. “And launch them too.”
After he’d released the rope from the wrist cuffs, they were still giggling.
“You’re both on probation.” The burst of more giggling just left him shaking his head. He swept Sabrina into his arms.
Coyly, she shook out her hair and hung onto his shoulders. “Where are you taking me, fair prince, to the shower?”
“No.” He hefted her higher, and paced toward the couch. “Over here. You haven’t forgotten your promise?”
“Umm. No. But I’m all sweaty and icky though. We both are. We want a shower, don’t we, Q?”
“Uh-uh. No shower. Not yet. I like you all sweaty. You’re tastier.” He paused to kiss her deeply, before setting her down at the front of the couch. A blanket he’d put next to the couch went over it. When he pointed to the floor, Q followed suit and kneeled next to Sabrina. “I want to see what my pet can do to my switch.”
Q eyed him a little suspiciously.
What’s your opinion of BDSM in romance fiction? Do you like some humor or would you rather the tone of these stories be darker? I know with some of the darker themes humor would not work as well unless you wrote it in very carefully. But in our story it fitted the people so well. Without it Jude wouldn’t have had half as much fun!

Katie Salidis and Willsin Rowe talk Submission Therapy
Today we have a big treat. Writing partners Katie and Willsin Rowe have allowed me to interview them about their writing, their partnership and their latest release.
I've just read part 1 in the series and can I say it's HOT! Loved it! And Willsin, the clever dude, also was responsible for the gorgeous cover!
So without further ado - take it way folks!
I've just read part 1 in the series and can I say it's HOT! Loved it! And Willsin, the clever dude, also was responsible for the gorgeous cover!
So without further ado - take it way folks!
Tell us about your new release.
WR: It’s called “Submission Therapy”. It delves into
the life of a female billionaire (there’s that word again!) who is so
tightly-wound that she’s in danger of collapsing in on herself. Having been
through every therapist available over the years, she’s really teetering on the
edge. Then her current psychiatrist, Dr. Benson, prescribes her some radical
therapy, designed to help her learn to let go of control. To allow someone else
to dominate her completely.
Where did you come up with the idea for this book?
KS: I think we all know a Natasha (or have worked for
one). She is such a control freak, a hard-ass, micromanaging, witch with a B.
This person in her professional life has it all, but to those who know her
best, she is a wreck. I’ve known plenty of Natashas, and often thought of what
might happen if she was put in her place. Would she learn a good lesson? And
that is what sparked the idea. Learning a good lesson from letting go of
control.
Why did you decide to write the book together? Is it
the first time or are you experienced *
wink *?
WR: We actually have two previous books together,
“Patience” and “Slowpoke”. They’re both fun erotic romance, though, whereas
this series is sharper and has a darker tone to it.
KS: Oh yeah, we’ve got experience. We’ve been
practicing this kind of thing for years. We started out as blogger buddies and
have been beta reading for each other ever since. I think this was just natural
progression. Willsin is my favorite sounding board, and when I am stuck he
always has the answer!
What’s the best part of writing with a partner?
KS: Writer’s Block is almost non-existent when you
have a partner. One of us always has the answer, or by chatting about it, we
find that answer together!
WR: There’s an ongoing stream of moral and creative
support. Plus we get the beta-reading done WHILE we’re writing!
The worst part?
WR: Working 12,000 miles apart means there can be
timing issues. For the most part we’ve not had trouble, but on one occasion I
actually did a couple of hours of writing and editing AT THE SAME TIME as
Katie...which meant that I had to put the two documents up beside each other on
screen so that I could make sure all edits from both of us were included!
KS: The worst part is the time/location difference
(Willsin in Australia and me in west coast America). Working in two different
hemispheres means that we are not always online when the other needs to chat or
bounce around ideas.
How did you research for your story? Was it fun?
KS: I wish I could say I have practical research, but
alas, no. I’ve enjoyed reading as much as I can though.
WR: Well, there was a lot of reading involved, as well
as some practical work - all of that was fun! Plus for any story I write
(because I’m a dude), I tend to act scenes out in my lounge room. Just to be
sure I’m not bending anyone’s limbs off. I mostly wait until my family’s out,
though!
Is this part of a series? Any plans for other stories
based on these characters?
WR: Oh, yes. This is the first book in a three-part
series. The series title is “Consummate Therapy”. The second book,
“Occupational Therapy” is releasing on November 16th. The third book will be
out on November 30th.
What was the hardest part about writing this book?
KS: I couldn’t
wrap my mind around Chloe for the longest time. Thankfully, Willsin had her in
hand!
WR: For me, with any erotic writing, the “excitement”
factor can be a real problem. Male arousal has a very insistent internal voice!
And this story excited me quite a bit. (Down, boy! Down!)
What was the easiest part?
WR: Just having a co-writer who sees the story arc in
such a similar way to me. That observation is not restricted to this story
alone, but it became more noticeable during this story than it had been before.
KS: The easiest part was outlining our scenes. We
don’t do a hard outline, but the bouncing around our ideas made the story clear
to both of us. We were immediately on the same page and raring to go!
Favorite Scene?
KS: I love when Natasha is being efficient with Dr.
Benson. That attitude, that snark, oh I just love how much of a “B” Natasha is.
It just makes you want to see her learn that lesson.
WR: I just love the banter when Natasha first arrives
at Room 112 for her “radical therapy”. When she’s still so full of her own
snarky self-importance and Master Sweet rapidly introduces her to her immediate
future!

What are you working on now?
WR: We’re putting the final touches on the
second and third books in this series. Just dotting the T’s and crossing our
eyes!
And now for the very very personal
questions-
Favourite toy?
WR: My motorbike!
KS: My Kindle
What? No sex toys?
Favourite food?
KS:
Right now, I’d have to say Hummus.
WR: Only one? But there are so many! Okay, I
guess I’ll say Indian.
Favourite position?
WR: Ohhh, cowgirl all the way. I love being
a solid foundation to grind on...plus the view is awesome! (You go girl!)
KS: Up against the wall, in the shower.
Mmmm, that’s so hot! (Mmm...totally agree!)
If you could have anyone, famous or not
- who do you want to get hot and heavy with in a ménage?
KS: Ian Sommerhalder, Eric Bana, Alex
O'Loughlin, the list goes on and on. I have a thing for dark haired hotties!
WR: That’s a tough one. I mean, when both
Megan Gale and Scarlett Johansson became available at the same time back in
late 2010, that certainly got my interest! But I think I’d probably opt for
Sara Ramirez, Lily Serna (Aussie maths whiz) and Maria Tutaia (New Zealand
netball player). Clearly I, too, have a thing for dark haired hotties!
Go the dark haired hotties!

Katie Salidas is
a Super Woman! Endowed with special powers and abilities, beyond those of
mortal women, She can get the munchkins off to gymnastics, cheerleading,
Girl Scouts, and swim lessons. She can put hot food on the table for dinner
while assisting with homework, baths, and bedtime… And, She still finds the
time to keep the hubby happy (nudge nudge wink wink). She can do all of this
and still have time to write.
And if you can believe all of those lies, there
is some beautiful swamp land in Florida for sale…
Katie Salidas
resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mother, wife, and author, she does try to do it
all, often causing sleep deprivation and many nights passed out at the
computer. Writing books is her passion, and she hopes that her passion will
bring you hours of entertainment.
Willsin Rowe
falls in love with a scent, a playful expression or an act of casual intimacy
more easily than with physical beauty. When confronted by any combination of
those elements he is a lost cause. He has done many things over and over, done
even more things only once, and half-done more things than he cares to admit.
He loves to sing and doesn’t let his voice get in the way. He is intelligent
but not sensible. He is passionate but fearful. He is not scruffy enough or
stylish enough to be cool.
Thanks so much for being my guests today Katie and Willsin. I for one will be getting the next instalment as soon as it comes out! I can't wait to see what Master Sweets has in mind for Natasha :-)

The next best thing challenge! #BDSM
Thanks to Jess Dee for tagging me in this!
Here’s how it works:
Kinky Bet
2. Where did the idea for this book come from?
My sick mind :-) I'm bad that way.
3. What genre would your book fall under?
Contemporary BDSM romance
4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Conal is definitely Colin Farrell. The eyes have it. And the accent :-)
Erica could be played by Scarlett Johansen quite well...although she'd need to be a bit more vulnerable to get the subtleties of Erica's character :-)
5. What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?
Who thought losing a bet could end up being so much fun?
6. Is your book published or represented?
Not yet :-)
7. How long did it take you to write it?
Still a WIP :-) Almost done :-)
8. What other books in your genre would you compare it to?
I guess it's a bit similar to The Master's Prize. The heroine is exploring her sexuality in ways she never dreamed of.
9. Which authors inspired you to write this book?
I am always inspired by Cherise Sinclair, Qwillia Rain and Joey Hill when I write BDSM. All of them in a different way. Cherise with her loving Doms, Qwillia with the emotional intensity and Joey with her knack of making it look easy, and all of them for the amazing hot scenes!
10. Tell us anything else that might pique our interest in your book.
The hero has killer brown eyes, a gorgeous Irish accent and holds a strong resemblance to Colin Farrell. What's not to like?
I'm not sure who I'll tag in this...will have to think about it! See me on Facebook!
Here’s how it works:
- Answer the 10 questions below
- Spread the fun and tag other writers to participate.

It's International #BDSM Day
Happy International BDSM Day! International BDSM day was created in 2003 by a BDSM Club in Barcelona called Rosa5 and has been celebrated every year since. July 24 was chosen because of the date 24/7 (Yes, I use the dd/mm/yy method)
It's time to share your knowledge and your stories with others :-)
I've spoken about my love of BSDM romance before on this blog. If you've missed it you can read it HERE.
There's been a lot of hype surrounding bondage and submission since the bestseller lists were flooded with 50 Shades of everything. I haven't read any of the books, but I can only say that raising awareness of this genre is a good thing. If it encourages others to read other BDSM and erotic romance books, then that's fantastic!
I'm going to settle in to read a fantastic BDSM romance, and then I might remind my dh what day it is LOL
How are you going to celebrate the day?

Here's a snippet from her upcoming release which is a story in the ALL TOGETHER NOW anthology to be released on May 7th at Total-e-bound.
Enjoy!
And can I just say I LOVE the covers from Total-e-bound!

Adult
Excerpt from “The Perfect Third”, a contemporary MFM Menage that is included in
the All Together Now Anthology which is
available May 7th from Total-E-Bound Publishing. All rights
reserved.
Denise had been
begging for what they were about to do for a long time, but they always wanted
to make sure a girl knew what she was getting into—or, more accurately, what
was getting into her—before they attempted it.
“Hold on, boys,” she
said lasciviously. “If we’re going to do what I think we’re going to do, I want
to use some of my toys.”
Lorne was puzzled, but
Antony looked almost insulted.
“I’m sure you’ll get
plenty of pleasure from what our cocks are about to do to you,” said Antony,
trying not to let his pride bring the evening to a halt.
“Oh, sugar, I know
they will! It’s just that, well, you boys are so…organic in your tastes. I’ve
wanted to add a little more spice to things for a while. I promise you, it’s
purely to heighten what I’m already sure will be sensational.”
Antony looked at Lorne
to gauge his reaction. Lorne merely shrugged as if to say ‘Why not?’
“Sure, babe, tell us
what you want.”
“Okay, Lorne darling.
Antony’s already nice and ready for me here. Do you mind grabbing my little bag
of tricks over by my closet door?”
Lorne looked in the
direction she was pointing and saw a small black tote. He picked it up, and
when he unzipped the top to view the contents he got the complete picture of
what she wanted. Their kinky little Denise liked it rough. Lorne and Antony had
very little in the way of taboos, but BDSM had never been their first choice
with a date. They both truly loved women, and would never do anything to hurt
or degrade one. But if that was something the woman wanted, they would do their
best to please her.
“Any requests?”
He could see Antony sitting
up on the bed, straining around Denise to try to get a good look at what was
going on. The evening had taken an interesting turn.

STOP THE PRESSES!
I've managed to talk the lovely Shannon Peters in to sharing a teaser from her story in this same Anthology. Here it is here...enjoy!
THE TRIUMVERATE'S CONSORT by Shannon Peters
She stepped off the kerb—but
her foot didn’t hit the ground.
A strong arm wrapped
around her waist, a big hand clapped over her mouth, and she was swung off her
feet and carried into the dark alley.
Evie struggled
against her captor. She managed to kick him in the shin, and was satisfied when
she heard a grunt.
“Help me hold her,
Taz,” a voice growled near her ear.
Then there were two
pairs of arms clutching her. She was held in a strong grip, with a man’s arm
around her torso, and another around her waist, and two warm, muscular bodies
bracketing her own. Rain pelted down on all of them, the tall buildings lining
the alley providing little protection from the elements. She tried to turn her
head, to see her captors.
The men from the pub.
She didn’t have time
for this. Baxter was probably striding up and down the meeting room now, fuming
at her tardiness.
The dark-haired man
from the pub stepped in front of her. He removed his sunglasses.
Blue.
His eyes were blue,
but not a normal blue. It was like looking into a pool, with mesmerising blends
of blue, silver and dark indigo shifting and swirling. Weird, yet beautiful.
Evie halted her struggling, captivated by his glimmering eyes. Eyes weren’t supposed to
swirl. He slid a soothing hand down the side of her face.
“Hush, my sweet. We
mean you no harm.”
